February 2024, the warmest month in history
February was the warmest of all previous Februarys, bringing high temperatures, sunny days and little bit snow, according to multiple reports from the National Weather Service.
The culprit for these strange weather conditions is El NiƱo, said NWS meteorologist Ashley Novak.

El NiƱo occurs when the Earth’s equatorial trade winds weaken, pushing warm water toward the US West Coast.
